Some women don’t just live their lives , they leave something behind in the air. A feeling. A standard. A quiet permission for the rest of us to take up more space.

Over the past year, the Lurelly Journal has been celebrating women who did exactly that. Women who moved through the world with intention, with style, with an unshakeable sense of self, even when the world tried to define them for them.

We called it Icons of Influence.

We began with Princess Diana, tender and regal in equal measure. We moved through the life of Maya Angelou, who turned survival into poetry. We sat with Audrey Hepburn’s quiet grace, Joséphine Baker’s fearless fire, Tina Turner’s radiant resilience, Jackie Kennedy’s unbreakable composure and Coco Chanel, who built an empire from nothing and rewrote the rules of what a woman could be.

Six women. Six stories. One through line, that femininity at its fullest is never small. It is never decorative. It is a force.

A forever muse. She carried the weight of a crown with the warmth of a woman who never forgot her humanity. Regal and tender, Diana reminded us that true power lives in the softest places.

She turned pain into poetry and poetry into power. Maya Angelou didn’t just write words, she gave language to every woman who had ever been silenced and dared them to rise anyway.

Elegance is the only beauty that never fades. Audrey was grace personified, proof that simplicity, when worn with intention, is the most powerful statement of all.

COCO CHANEL

From nothing, she created everything. Coco Chanel didn’t just design clothes, she dismantled the rules entirely and rebuilt elegance on her own terms. Free, refined, and fearless in vision. A forever muse.
